Kazo Hill Ludo Club - The Cobras

The club started in 2004 formally known as Kazo Central ludo club found in Kazo Central zone where it is located even to date. The club started with fifteen (15) members then rose to forty‐five (45) qualifying for formal registration under the leadership of Mr. Mukasa Mike as the first club Chairperson now currently the club has a membership capacity of fifty‐two (52) members.

The club started at the first Chairperson ‐ Mr. Mukasa Mike’s home with an aim of uniting young people (youth) for a common cause also encourage them to participate in various sports activities starting with the ludo sport. The current club Chairperson is Mr. Kabanda Badru deputized by Omulongo Kato Charles as the Vice-Chairperson.

The club is found in Wakiso ULF district popularly nicknamed as the cobblers since birth has been an active participant in all undertakings or happenings of Uganda Ludo Federation (ULF) including the prominent super league. Kazo Hill qualified and joined for the National Ludo Super League in 2005 since then it has never been relegated due its commendable performances.

Due to its outstanding performance both in the super league and other planned also conducted ludo events as stipulated on the annual program calendars, the club won the national champion title for the super league in 2006 and 2007 respectively also its members won in the individual ludo championships as follows: Ssejjemba Rashid won in 2009 plus Omulongo Kato Charles won in 2017 respectively.

The club is proud of having the Most Vulnerable Player (MVP) of 2017 by the names of Omulongo Kato Charles its current Vice Chairperson. The club looks forth to remain outstanding with respect in following its motto stated as “Together as one” with an aim of keeping club members as one thus build and strengthen the momentum.

Kazo hill ludo club is fully registered with Uganda Ludo Federation (ULF) and affiliated to Africa Ludo Federation (ALF) eligible to participate in all their planned activities
