Entebbe Gerenge Ludo Club

The club started in 2005 found at Gerenge fishing site in Entebbe ULF district where it is located even to date. The club started with twelve (12) members now currently with a membership capacity of a membership capacity of fifty‐two (52) members.

The club started with the first Chairperson as ‐ Mr. Ssentongo Gaster with an aim of keeping young people (youth) busy also for club to act as a unifying factor thus being a leisure venture. The current club Chairperson is Mr. Kiya Deo.

The club nicknamed as the fishermen has actively been participating in all undertakings or happenings of Uganda Ludo Federation (ULF) including the famous super league. Entebbe Gerenge ludo club qualified and joined for the National Ludo Super League in 2012 since then it has never been relegated due its appealing performances.

For its promising performance both in the super league and other planned also conducted ludo events in the federation (ULF), the club won the national champion title for the super league in 2015 also won the first division ludo league at district level (Entebbe ULF district) in 2008.

The club is proud with its motto stipulated as “Either we win or they lose” with an aim of building their continued confidence thus to work as a team for shared success to be attained at all times.

Entebbe Gerenge ludo club is fully registered with Uganda Ludo Federation (ULF) and affiliated to Africa Ludo Federation (ALF) eligible to participate in all their planned activities.
