Uganda Ludo Federation recieves special recognition award

The Uganda Ludo Federation received a special recognition award from the National Council Of Sports during a stake holders dinner on Friday 6th January at the Hockey grounds in Lugogo Kampala.

The prestigious award was of the year 2022 and it was due to the prolific performances the Uganda Ludo Federation showed at the global stage where they won the 2022 World Ludo Championship that were in Nepal and Dubai in November.

Uganda who were debutants we pooled in group A alongside Pakistan,UAE and Saudi Arabia but the Uganda Doves managed to turn heads in tournament as they topped the group with 7 points.

On the semi final stage, they eliminated Bangladesh securing what looked like a nerve-racking final with Pakistan which they convincingly beat to win the trophy.

The other Federations that were awarded include Athletics,Football, Rugby and cricket.
