Press Release – 1st May, 2020

The Uganda Ludo Federation (ULF) top leadership the National Executive Committee (NEC) headed by Mr. Kalule Hussein the President in June, 2020 called off the following activities on the annual program calendar of activities, 2020 due to the COVID 19 pandemic:

  1. The national individual championship for both men and women were expected to kick off in late June to early July, 2020.
  2. The inter-University ludo competitions expected to start in April, 2020.
  3. The inter-districts ludo competitions expected to kick off March, 2020.
  4. The annual YMCA clubs, cultural and sports gala, 2020 expected in July, 2020.
  5. The annual league one starting from the district level in April, 2020.
  6. The National ludo championship, 2020 was in vain.

The main reason is that, the COVID 19 effect whereby all our ludo clubs are on a lockdown also the sports activities were suspended country wide. Management
