After a riveting contest on contest Day 17 at Rock 24,7 Mpererwe, the home team Masaka Giants received a harsh punishment in front of their brave and animated supporters.

In the second set, Masaka Giants Ludo Club player Ssemuwemba Jamil received a second yellow card from referee Kibirige Livingston, sending him to the locker room.

Following the red card decision, there was a lot of tension, and Ssemuwemba attacked the referee in an attempt to start a fight.

It’s noted that the host team is required by the Uganda National Ludo Super League’s rules to provide a setting that allows the referee to carry out his duties without interference from either team , a rule that Masaka Giants violated.

Following that, the game was called off by the referee Kibirige Livingston and Kazo Hill was leading 1-0.

Masaka Giants will be waiting to appear before the organising committee chaired by Miss Nabbuma Teddy where they might loose 3points and pay a cash fine
