UGANDA : The inaugural Ludo For Schools Tournament has the students incredibly pumped up

The Ludo for Schools tournament, which will include both primary and secondary schools, is aimed at introducing the game of Ludo to educational institutions.

The Ludo devotees have been really anxious as a result of this. Students from several houses played the board game Ludo on Sunday at Blessed Toddlers Junior School in Nansana as part of the school’s sports day.

When it came time to play the Ludo game, both the students and the teachers were very excited.Students were chanting and shouting for their individual houses.

Students who spoke to this website hinted at how the game of Ludo had benefited them and how they were prepared to take part in the first Ludo for Schools competition, which will culminate in October 2023.

“First and foremost, I’d like to use this chance to thank the Uganda Ludo Federation for introducing this lovely game of Ludo to classrooms. Calculation-based games like Ludo have helped us get better at thinking. We have been competing as Blessed Toddlers Junior School, Nansana, and we are prepared to compete in the National Junior category, according to Nyamai Michael, the team’s Ludo captain.

Hussein Kalule, president of the Uganda Ludo Federation, attended the sporting event as an honorary guest.

“The atmosphere I witnessed during the Ludo match has astonished me. The youngsters are very excited about the first Ludo For Schools Tournament. Many children and instructors came up to us and asked us to come to their schools and here we are, said Kalule.

Lubega Vicient, Vice President Technical, and Odur Alex, a ULF referee, presided over the Ludo matches.
