UGANDA : USSSA Approves Ludo in The Mind games category

The Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) on Thursday 9th March 2023 approved the beautiful game of Ludo to be part of this year’s sports calendar.

USSSA responded to a letter that was written by Uganda Ludo Federation (ULF) ULF /CORRESP/2023/009 on 17 February 2023.

The beautiful game of Ludo will be making it’s debut in the secondary schools this year.

While speaking to this website ,The Uganda Ludo Federation President Kalule Hussein emphasized about the impact of Ludo in schools and the Ludo community at large.

“Ludo in schools has been part of our strategic plan .It’s going to add more vibe in the game since it will act as an avenue to recruit younger players into the game especially the girl child. These students in schools have settled and sharp minds. I believe we shall have the strongest Ludo team that will compete on the continental and world level.” Said Kalule Hussein.

The winners of the national competitions will represent Uganda in South Africa, Egypt and later at the World stage.

The Ludo Federation will also venture in primary schools and Universities come next year.
